これが麻理子からの連絡だ。いつも０時を回った頃に一報が入る。
彼女は六本木のバーで働いているらしく、バー上がりに連絡がくる。
決まって深夜帯にタクシーで移動している。僕自身彼女が何者かつかめていない。
ただ、言える事は、本当に奇麗な女性であること、これだけだ。
黒髪ですらっとした背丈、大きな瞳で、いつも服装が整っている。
そして、笑顔がとても奇麗だ。
いつも待ち合わせるのは渋谷の奥くにある
ここで赤ワインを飲むのが通例になっている。
すこしおなかが減っているのか、フォアグラのソテーを頼んだ。
「今日は何してたの？」
「仕事してた」
これがいつもやり取り、中身は無くていい。ただ彼女に一目会えれば、それだけで十分だ。
彼女にはいつも、連絡が付くわけじゃない。
六本木、麻布、銀座を移動している。
まるで、都会の喧噪に飛んでいる蝶のようだ。
いつ連絡が取れなくなるか不安になるほどだ。
今日は仕事が早めに終わり、そのあと友達と飲んでいたが、中途半端に酔いが回ったらしく飲み直したかったようだ。
この後も、知り合いのお店に飲みに行くらしい。
時間は既に2時を回っている。
「いまなにしてるのー？」
この一言が欲しくて、僕は今日も眠れない。
